Bella Apartments

Bella Apartments located in the thriving heart of Southbank and the Crown precinct provide residents with access to some of the best dining, shopping and entertainment facilities in Melbourne.

This stylish, bold urban design statement comprises 221 apartments, 2 retail tenancies, car and bicycle parking.

Each apartment is carefully planned with balconies and floor to ceiling windows, maximizing views of Melbourne CBD to the North East and St Kilda to Williamstown to the South.

Balcony panels to the North facade comprise glass panels in a combination of clear, grey, and aquamarine glass. This allows the occupiers expansive city views whilst maintaining a degree of privacy. The overall look of the building is high quality, interesting, and colourful.

The free-form podium treatment blends a colour wave of aquamarine balcony spandrel glass cascading down from the apartment tower to the podium which represents a pool where the central panels are arranged in a random pattern to represent splashing water. The 3 dimensional folded metal panels coloured in blues, aquamarine, and silver are suspended over a rectilinear horizontal bar grid to allow transparency through the podium car park. The dynamic treatment brings the facade and podium together with a unified sculptural cascading water theme, well suited to this bustling inner city location.
